Hi Everyone! Mobilization for Animals PA will be having vegan bake sales at both the Royersford and Oaks Pet Valu stores, on Sunday, February 10, from 10 AM until 2 PM. Our pre-Valentine’s Day events will encourage people to love both their taste buds and our animal friends, by purchasing some yummy animal-free baked goods.
Donations in the form of both vegan baked goods – please with no palm oil – and monetary donations to purchase ingredients or prepared items, are needed. If you can bake anything, one of our volunteers will need to receive it before Sunday morning. Items should be easy-to-serve, such as pumpkin or banana bread already cut into slices, cookies, brownies, etc. Nothing that involves utensils. We have people in Eagleville/Norristown, North Wales, and Douglassville that will be participating, so items can be dropped off at our homes, at a meeting place close by, or at the stores themselves.
If you can’t make anything – I know I’m personally not great at baking – please come by one of the stores on Sunday and send some friends, to try some items and pick up some information. We will also have our doggy kissing booth at the Oaks store!
Money raised will be used to help fund our second annual EcoFest and this year’s theme is living in harmony with wildlife. Put it on your calendars! Volunteers are of course also needed for all of the events!
Funding for the bake sale, EcoFest, or general donations can be made here.
Thanks so much,
Jenny
