With the many COVID-19 related restrictions on gatherings, we and other organizations have had to cancel and/or modify our normal summer and fall events. Fortunately some are going forward in person, getting creative to comply with local regulations to try and ensure as safe a space as possible while still presenting a fun and educational event.Continue reading “Upcoming Veg Events Sept. 2020”
We are happy to share with you VegEvents, a useful resource for keeping up to date on the many vegan events worldwide, both virtual and in person as we all start to hopefully emerge from lock downs. In addition to a list of upcoming events, they provide a free newsletter emailing subscribers once a week with a list of vegan events near them.
Enjoy meeting up with your fella and fellow vegans again .. and stay safe!

Join us for a peaceful vigil in honor of vegan activist Regan Russell this Sunday, June 28 at Villanova University
Regan Russell was a beloved activist in Toronto, Ontario, dedicating her life to those who needed her most. She was fiercely committed and would not be silenced by unjust laws, or pressure from mega-industries trying to hide abuses. She had her life taken while offering a moment of comfort to pigs destined for slaughter. We will not be silent either, about injustice, about cruelty, or about her death.Continue reading “Remembering Regan Russell”
Our good friend Lisa is part of a group hosting the following retreats that particularly apply to anyone involved in animals rights, veganism, and other activist issues:
- Find Your Voice, Live Your Heart: Narrative Healing Arts Retreat on October 5-6, 2019 at Woodstock Farm Sanctuary and Catskill Animal Sanctuary
- Activist Healing Retreat: Help Animals Without Depleting Yourself on October 12, 2019 at Reflections Studio in New York City
Enjoy the healing and the fall!

Here’s the link for our new and improved second year Ecofest, to take place on April 27, 2019 in conjunction with the Pottstown Climate March:
We need lots of volunteers to help set up, help vendors get set up, monitor the park to make sure people are properly using the recycling and composting areas, staff the Mobilization for Animals’ registration and information tables, and help pack up at day’s end. Please spare a few hours for the Earth and all the species who share it!
Please post to any email lists, social media outlets, bulletin boards, or anything else to which you have access.
Also, if your organization or business would like to be a vendor or sponsor, that information is also on our website.
Hope to see you there, one way or another!
Thanks for anything you can do!
