Today, more than ever, so many of our neighbors are in need of affordable, nutrient-rich foods. To assist them, we are reaching out to our community, local merchants, and plant-based businesses to collect items and hold a food drive to distribute items to those in need. In the midst of a pandemic, we all must keep ourselves as healthy as possible and a focus on the increase of grains, nuts, seeds, vegetables, and fruits in our diet is a great way to do that.
During January, we will be collecting items, with distributions to occur to households in need in February.
Give what you don’t need to help others who do.
All non-perishable, plant-based food; cruelty-free personal products; and pet food or supplies are welcome.
These items include, but are not limited to:
- Canned or dried beans
- Boxed pasta
- Nuts and seeds
- Nut butters
- Jarred or canned sauces
- Dried fruit
- Chips, crackers, and snacks
- Cat litter
Please email us at email@example.com to coordinate in-kind donations. You may also PayPal us at firstname.lastname@example.org for monetary donations, which will be used to purchase these items ourselves for distribution. All proceeds, whether in-kind or monetary, will go directly to families in need.
Thank you for thinking of others this year.
Love, MFA PA
